Sovereign Albion explores who we are, where we’re going and how we get there, told through the lens of the builders — of companies, state capacity, and the nation — making it real.
With a particular focus on technology, critical industries, sovereignty and state capacity — i.e. not just ‘will AI continue to scale?’, but what is our strategy, in Britain, as it does? — it is also an attempt to build a world of richness, texture and soul. We need better choices: progress and preservation, based and woke, rational and mystical, metal and moss.
Sovereign Albion is supported by the Centre for British Progress and hosted by me, Andrew Bennett. I bring experience across technology, capital and policy to chart the path of progress. I’m obsessive about the turpentine of ambition — unpacking the craft of company-building and policy-making — and giving power to the people, ideas and machines rebuilding our national spirit and restoring national agency.
It can often feel like Britain has reached some terminal value that’s not just economic, but also cultural. Sovereign Albion refuses to accept that. Join us if you do too.
